How do I install a SSL certificate on cPanel?

1. Log in to your WHM panel using your root credentials. You can usually access WHM by visiting https://<YOUR_IP>:2087
2. In the WHM sidebar, search for SSL/TLS and click on the Install an SSL Certificate on a Domain link:
   
   
   
   
3. Type in your domain into “Domain” box and select IP address of your server under “IP Address”.
   
   
   
   
4. Open the certificate.crt file (SSL Certificate) in a text editor and copy its content and paste it into the Certificate: (CRT) box.
   
   
   
   
5. Open the certificate.key (Private Key) in a text editor and copy its content and paste it into the Private Key: (KEY) box.
   
   
   
   
6. Open the _chain.crt file (CA Bundle) in a text editor and copy its content and paste it into the Certificate Authority Bundle: (CABUNDLE) box.
   
   
   
   
7. Press “Install” at the bottom of the page.
   
   Keep in mind that for certificates to work your website should be configured for redirection to https.
