What is the Auto Backup Add-On?

The Auto Backup Add-On is an optional extension to the functionality of Contabo’s Virtual Private Servers (VPS)  that creates automatically daily backups of your VPS data and stores them off-server for up to 10 days.

The data is copied to a separate Contabo storage system which means data loss on the host-system of the VPS does not affect backed up data.

You can easily restore any available backup to your VPS anytime by following our guide here.

Currently, the Auto Backup Add-On is available to a limited number of users, so it’s not yet accessible to everyone.

You will receive updates when it becomes available to all users, along with instructions on how to add the Auto Backup Add-On to your VPS.
