Contabo offers by default an unlimited amount of incoming traffic and a set amount of outgoing traffic. You can find the exact amounts of outgoing traffic allowed per product on the Contabo website here.

What are the rules for incoming traffic?

Incoming traffic is unlimited and unmetered so you will never face any extra charges based on your incoming traffic.

What are the rules for outgoing traffic?

Only if the outgoing bandwidth exceeds your bandwidth package for 10 days in row, the port speed of your instance will be throttled to the following rate depending on your package:

10 TB set to 100 Mbit/s
32 TB set to 100 Mbit/s
81 TB set to 250 Mbit/s
162 TB set to 500 Mbit/s
243 TB set to 750 Mbit/s
324 TB set to 1 Gbit/s

This is done to make sure you stay within your traffic package and do not incur any fees for going outside of the traffic package limit.
