How do I reinstall an operating system on my server?

Reinstalling your server allows you to deploy a new operating system or reset your server to a clean state.

⚠️ Important:

• Reinstalling your server will permanently delete all data on the server.
• Make sure to back up any important data before proceeding.

How to reinstall your server

1. Log in to the Customer Control Panel.
2. In the left-hand menu, select VPS or VDS, depending on your server type.
3. Find the server you want to reinstall.
4. Click the “More” (⋮) menu and select “Reinstall”.
5. Choose the image (operating system) you want to install.
6. Set a password for your root/administrator user.
7. (Optional) Select an application from the Application dropdown.
8. Click Install.
9. Confirm the warning about data loss to start the installation.

⚠️ Note: The installation starts immediately after confirmation. Make sure all settings are correct before proceeding.

How to check the installation progress

Once the reinstallation has started, you can monitor its progress in the Customer Control Panel:

1. Log in to the Customer Control Panel.
2. Go to VPS or VDS.
