  3. Click on the "Create new Private Network" button.
  4. A new window should appear. First, select your data center region from the "Region" drop-down list.
  5. You should then see a list of your servers available in the region you selected in the previous section.
Select the servers you would like to add to the private network. Please note that you can add up to 1022 servers to your private network. If you need to add more servers you will need to contact the customer support team. You can contact the customer support team via the "Get in Touch" section of the support home page here.
  6. Click the "Continue" button. You should be taken to this page:Create new Private Network box
  7. Enter a name for your private network in the "Private Network Name" field. It must be unique for all private networks in the selected data center, so you may get an error message if the name you're trying to use in already in use.
  8. Optionally, you can add a description for your private network in the "Private Network Name" text box.
  9. If you're happy with all the settings you've chosen, click the "Confirm" button.

Your private network will then be created and will appear in the overview of your active private networks in the Private Network section of the Customer Control Panel.

You must either reinstall or restart your server for the servers to be added to the private network. In the "Private Networking" section of the Customer Control Panel, when you click to open your private network next to each server, you should see some text that says either "requires restart" or "requires reinstallation" to guide you one what action you need to take to make them part of your private network.
