What credentials do I need to connect to S3 tools and API?

If you would like to use S3 compatible object storage tools or connect to the S3 API you will need a base URL which varies depending on the region of your object storage and S3 credentials.

Where can I find the S3 base URL's?

Below you can find the S3 base URL's. You will need to use the URL for your object storage's region. For example if your object storage's region is set to Singapore you will need to use the URL https://sin1.contabostorage.com.

Where can I find my S3 credentials?

1. Log in to the Customer Control Panel.
2. Click "Object Storage" from the blue "control panel" on the left hand side of the page.
3. Click the button "Go to Object Storage Panel". You should be taken to a new page.
4. Click "Account" from the menu on the left hand side of the page.
5. Click "Security & Access" from the menu on the left hand side of the page.
6. You should then see all the credentials you will need.
