What can I do with the Contabo API?

The Contabo API allows you to manage your resources using HTTP requests. You can find the documentation for Contabo API here.

How can I access the Contabo API?

1. Open the Customer Control Panel.
2. Click "API" from the blue "control panel" section on the left hand side of the page. 

You should then be able to access the client ID and client secret which are needed to use the API. 

You will also need to set a password for your API user, you can do this by clicking the "send link" button. You will then be sent an email to your user accounts email address with instructions to set your API password.

There is also no downtime on your server when switching on the Contabo API.

How many users can access the Contabo API for the same account?

You can create and manage users via the API and limit their access rights. There is no set limit on the amount of API users you can have.
