Verfügt mein Server über einen DDoS-Schutz?

All Contabo Servers and Webspace packages are equipped with a DDoS protection by default. 

You don't have to do anything in order to start the DDoS protection - the Contabo DDoS protection is activated automatically and free of charge for all Contabo servers.

We are constantly working to improve the Contabo protection system so it can repel many different types of attacks. 

However, just like any other DDoS protection, the Contabo protection system cannot provide a guarantee that every conceivable DDoS attack will be repelled.

Wie funktioniert Contabo DDoS?

The Contabo DDoS protection automatically detects most DDoS attack patterns and which filters the incoming traffic to the server so that the "malicious" attacking traffic is dropped and only the "real" desired traffic arrives at your server. 

This means that you will barely notice a possible attack while our DDoS protection filters the ongoing attack for you.
