How can I cancel a Contabo service?
You can cancel a service with us by using the Customer Control Panel with these steps:
- Log in to the Customer Control Panel.
- Navigate to the section that matches your service type: VPS, VDS, or Dedicated Servers.
- In the service list, locate the product you want to cancel. Click the 'More' button in the corresponding row, then select 'Cancel'.
- To proceed, click 'Continue with Cancellation'.
- A cancellation window will appear. Choose a reason for the cancellation from the available options.
- Review the displayed cancellation date. Make sure to back up or transfer any important data before the service becomes unavailable.
- Click 'Submit Cancellation' to finalize the process.
How can I close my Contabo account?
Once the final product on an account has been canceled, the entire account will be automatically removed. This means you will no longer be able to log in to the Customer Control Panel after your last active subscription ends.
If you wish to close your Contabo account completely, simply cancel all of your active subscriptions. Your account will be closed shortly afterward.
Can I re-activate my Contabo account after closing it?
If you wish to purchase Contabo services after cancelling your subscription, simply order a product as a new customer and a new account will be created for you.
Can I cancel a newly purchased Contabo product?
You can request revocation of your Contabo product within the first 14 days of your Contabo contract.

If you've set up automatic credit card payments, the payment pre-authorization will be cancelled along with the service.
