How do I add a payment method to my account?

You can add a payment method to your Contabo account with the steps below:


  1. Login to the Customer Control Panel.
  2. Click "Payment Method" from the blue "control panel" on the left hand side of the page.
  3. Next click "Enter payment details".
  4. Finally you will need to select the payment method you would like to use and fill out the relevant payment details.

How do I update my payment method?

You can update your payment method with the steps below:


  1. Login to the Customer Control Panel.
  2. Click "Payment Method" from the blue "control panel" on the left hand side of the page.
  3. Click the blue "Change Payment Method" button and you can then select the payment method you would like to use.
  4. Fill out any relevant fields and click save once you're done.

How do I cancel an automatic payment method?

If you have an automatic payment method selected and you would like to stop the automated payments you can simply change your payment method to a manual one with the following steps:

  1. Login to the Customer Control Panel.
  2. Click "Payment Method" from the blue "control panel" on the left hand side of the page.
  3. Click the blue "Change Payment Method" button and select a manual payment type. You can find a list of all our accepted payment methods here.
  4. Once you've selected your new manual payment method make sure you save your change. You should receive a payment method change notification email to confirm that the change is complete.

We generally recommend that you set up an automatic payment method to avoid missing payments. You can read more about what happens if you miss a payment here.
