What happens if I miss a payment?
Each Contabo service has a renewal date, based on the contract period and the date the service was ordered.
It is important that payments are received before the renewal date. If a payment is missed, this can result in:
Temporary suspension of the service
Cancellation of the service if the issue is not resolved
If a service remains unpaid and no contact is made with Contabo, data loss cannot be excluded.
What should I do to avoid issues?
To avoid service interruptions, please keep the following in mind:
Make your payment a few days before the due date
This ensures enough time for the payment to be processed successfully
We also strongly recommend setting up automated payments. See How can I switch manual payments to automatic payments?
With automated payments enabled, invoices are paid automatically and you don’t have to worry about missing a due date.
Where Can I See Upcoming Payments?
You can check upcoming renewal dates at any time in the Customer Control Panel.
In addition, you will receive an automatic reminder email a few days before each renewal date to help you stay on track.
