How can I change my personal details?

You can change the following personal details via the Customer Panel:

  • Account type (business/private)
  • Address
  • Billing address
  • Telephone number (used for password reset)

⚠️Please note that it is not possible to change your first name, last name, company name, country or currency via the Customer Panel. To make these changes, please contact our Customer Support team


You can change your email address through the old Customer Panel (https://my.contabo.com/account/details) under Customer Details. Note that it is not currently possible to change your email address through the new Customer Panel (new.contabo.com).


Once you make the change, a notification will be sent to your old email address informing you that the change has occurred. If you did not initiate this change yourself, you should contact support immediately.


A separate email titled "Contabo API / New Customer Panel Password" will be sent to your new email address. This email allows you to complete the verification process and set up your password for the New Customer Panel.


To change your personal details:

  • Log in to the Customer Panel.
  • Click on the person icon in the top right corner, then click Customer Details.


  • You'll then see the customer details page. 
  • You can then make any changes to your personal details in the available text boxes.
  • Once you make the changes, click the Confirm button to apply them.
